Captain Butch Kross has been fishing since he was a toddler and heads up the experienced team at  Captain Butch Costa Rica. After fishing fresh and salt water and during high school he started mating out of Manasquan Inlet NJ. learning and fine tuning his passion. At 19 he started a charter boat business with the original Pops Toy lasting over 40 years. Capt Butch still keeps a boat in Point Pleasant fishing mostly with his grandchildren, family, and friends. Captain Butch has been very fortunate to fish some of the top destinations of the world and has narrowed his favorite places down to Costa Rica and Alaska with over 35 years experience in Costa Rica and over 25 years bringing groups to Los Sueños Costa Rica his team has developed a relationship with the best boats, lodging, and excursions. After fishing at Tanaku lodge Alaska for several years Capt Butch has decided its his second most loved destination for fishing and has partnered with the Lodge to share one of gods best kept secrets on earth.
